Thanks for the bug report, TinKelp! We are already working on this bug and will soon release a fix.

Hi!
If I might humbly suggest, it would make sense to lower the price while the game is included in special bundles (many developers do during Humble Bundles).
Case in point, right now the Anime Rhapsody Bundle is pretty cheap and includes Four Horsemen, while there isn't even a 10% discount here or on Steam... Not telling you how to price your games, but I tend to avoid buying bundles (except Humble) because I prefer directly supporting the developers whose games I want to play, not having the revenue being split between 10 creators when I'm only going to play one or two of the games. But if the game remains full price it's hard to justify the standalone purchase.

Hi! I've played through two (or three??) paths of this game, and I'd love to finish it! Is there a guide or any sort of resource like that we can use to help us find different endings? The game told me I broke "the final seal," which made me think I successfully finished all four storylines, but it looks like I still haven't finished War's or Famine's, and I have absolutely NO clue where to go to finish them or even FIND them. Thank you!

Hello there. I haven't been able to get that Steam Key from that bundle at all. The link keeps referring me to a '404' page error on itch.io. Could you please help me?

Hi ThunderSnapper (and everyone else having Steam key issues),

We apologize for all the recent issues with Steam keys. The game's pool of Steam keys has been refilled. If you weren't able to get one before, please click the request key button on your purchase page and it should work now.

If you continue to experience problems receiving a Steam key,  please leave a comment here or use our contact page: http://nuclearfishin.com/fourhorsemen/contact/

Thanks for your patience!

- Kevin

I bought It but no Steam Key in my e-mail. :(

Hi Cobaya (and others who have had this issue),

Apologies for the delay. There seems to be a conflict between Steam's policy around distributing keys and itch.io's policy for supplying Steam keys with purchases. I contacted itch.io support about this a while back but have yet to hear back from them.

Since it may be a while before this issue is resolved, I have manually requested a Steam key for you. You should receive it within a few hours.

Best,
 Kevin

No Steam key for me /:

I paid via CB...checked my email and got nothing.

Just do like others here and put a redeem Steam Key on purchase page...more easy for everyone ^^

Apologies for the late response--please check your email.

The purchase notes say this is supposed to come with a Steam key, but I don't have one on my download page. Is there an email I should send my payment info to in order to get a key? Thanks.

Hi teatime,

Check your email--you should have a Steam key waiting for you in your inbox. :)

Just got an email with the key; thank you!

Met the creator. Was moved by the idea. And surprisingly to myself played the game through twice. It is designed like a classic movie - it takes a while to get going, and it doesn't exactly telegraph what will happen.  It's like a good book - it takes some persistence to get to the good stuff. But definitely the complex immigrant stories and sub-srories, especially as they affect multiple generations, are worth experiencing.

id like to say from reading the description and from the brief tim ive played of this game i can tell its going to be good, however i feel i should mention a few problems i have with the game: 1 from 1st glance there doesnt seem to be an imediate way to save the game which is a problem and 2. this is a minor thing but i feel the contries need a breif description when u hover over them as it was hard for me to make a decion just going off their names alone

I’m glad you enjoy the game, furyousd!

1. The game autosaves after each ingame day, at the end of the Night phase. This is meant to discourage savescumming.

2. This was originally a deliberate choice—the names are meant to draw you to countries that resonate with your real-world experience, and we wanted players to not really know what they were getting into (just like real immigrants often do). But feedback has shown that this vagueness keeps some immigrant players from identifying countries that reflect their own heritage. We are considering adding country descriptions in a future patch.

While of course expanding a post release game is not to be taken lightly, given how much detail and research went into the specifics would help people to know what they're getting.

Agreed! We'd love to add this feature, but only if we can do it right.

ok so hears my thoughts: 1 save scumming for me at least is a way of me choosing which choice i would  go with if it was me in that situation, without it i can choose a choice and then later think to myself well that's not what i would of done at all in that situation and the4n i will have to either completely start the game again or reload the closest auto save file which is very annoying to do and ruins my immersion into the game

and 2. i see your point but in my case none of the names resonated with me (i'm Australian) so without descriptions i just ended up going through all of them untill i found characters with names and ethnicity/colours that i like/felt best represented what i wanted and even then i stopped playing because of a lack of being able to save freely so i could stop whenever and wherever i wanted to,

anyway i do think the game has a great concept and i will revisit it at some point when i have the time to do so maybe after u decide weather or not to add descriptions to the countries in a future patch as if u did that would help immensely with starting out the game again
